[Bockstoce 1955]  Herbaceous Hybrid: Huge double flowers are vibrant, true red, with none of the blue tones seen in red lactifloras. Excellent substance gives the flowers an almost waxy, high gloss finish. The centers of the flowers are shaped like rosebuds and open beautifully. Generous bloom, strong stems and light fragrance. A beautiful red! Blooms early midseason.
