[Saunders 1943] Herbaceous Hybrid: Bright crimson, single goblet-shaped flowers are nicely displayed atop robust foliage. Virgorous plants are tall and typically carry one bud per stem. Although the hybridizing records were lost, this cultivar is thought to be a P. macrophylla cross. Blooms early midseason.
