[Saunders 1942]  Herbaceous Hybrid: Brilliant, vermillion red single flowers highlight this rare little gem. One of Saunders' four "little red" hybrids resulting from a cross between P. officianalis and P. lobata, this is the tallest in this group of dwarf to semi-dwarf cultivars. Cherished by hybridizers and fertile both ways. Extremely rare and limited. Blooms early midseason.
