[Smith 2002] Itoh: Large semi-double to double flowers are clear, deep yellow with just a hint of green. Unlike many of the yellow Itohs, this variety does not have flares which adds to the vibrance of the blossoms. Robust shrubs have beautiful, disease resistant foliage.  Strong stems carry the flowers on upright stems just above the foliage, creating a striking display in the landscape. Flowers are lightly fragrant. An outstanding introduction from Don Smith’s hybridizing program!
